What does Oaktree-design offer that I can’t find elsewhere?

Oaktree-design offers outstanding bespoke creative design you would normally expect from a design agency with the lowest print prices at a hugely discounted rate to that offered by high street outlets without compromising on quality.

How can you offer such low print prices?

We can do this because of our effective printing techniques and low overheads.

How do I order?

Select one of the print products on the left hand side of this page. If you need design artwork for your print order you will be given the option to add design when you place your order. If you require design only please see our Design Only page.

I need my print quickly, what can I do?

We have two production options for you to choose from on some of our print products - Lithographic or Digital. Both processes offer very high quality print results but digital printing offers a faster turnaround time. You can select digital by toggling between the Litho or Digital tabs on our product pages when ordering your print. If the digital option is not available for your print product please contact us.

How is my order delivered?

Your order will be delivered FREE by courier in white label packaging.

What type of files do you prefer?

Our preferred file is .pdf format. You can find free websites that can convert your file into a .pdf if you are unsure of how to do it. For further information please see our Checklist & Templates page.

I'm not a designer so should I use my own artwork?

Great design has been proven to make a massive difference on the response rate advertisers receive and should never be underestimated. It's about much more than making your artwork look pretty - our designers have years of experience in creating artwork that performs effectively and have an intimate knowledge of the design process; from understanding the correct images and fonts to use to suit your business, to the amount of text to use and knowing which important information to emphasise such as call to actions, contact details etc.

It may be tempting to save money in the short term but in the long term your marketing will be a lot less effective without well designed artwork, therefore your marketing budget will be wasted. We highly recommend that you set aside a third of your print or marketing budget to invest in quality design. See below for our pricing - we are probably a lot cheaper to use than you may realise.

How much do you charge for print and design?

All our print and design prices are fixed fee. The prices for all our print products can be found by selecting the relevant print product on the left hand side menu. All our design prices are listed on our Outsource page. If you are after something more bespoke, then we would be happy to tailor a quote to meet all your needs. Please provide us with all the relevant information by filling in our Bespoke page and we will get back to you with a free no-obligation quote.

Do you offer a reseller service?

Yes, we can provide you with both design & print under a white label service that you can resell to your customers. For more information please refer to our Outsourcing page.

Can I receive a proof?

Most of our costs are in the setup rather than the printing itself, so to setup for just one proof would prove far too expensive. We simply print exactly what you send us. Sending proofs also dramatically slows down production times. If you would like to order some free print samples first you can request a sample pack here.

Will my artwork be proof read?

In order to keep our print costs as low as possible we do not proof read print ready artwork sent in to us. If we have created the artwork for you we will do a basic proof read and spellcheck but still ask the customer to double check it before it goes to print. Therefore, please remember to do a full spell check yourself including phone numbers, email addresses etc. Once the artwork goes to print no further changes can be made. We strongly recommend using the services of a proofreader for any print work. We can recommend some talented proof readers if needed but if you prefer to proof read it yourself we recommend asking a friend to check it also.

What happens after I place my order including design?

Upon receipt of your order, we will contact you (initially by email) to acknowledge we are in the process of designing your artwork or we may ask you for certain information regarding your design requirements. The design process will begin once we have all text and images from you. Then we will email you a .pdf proof of your design within 2-3 working days - please allow extra time for any amendments. The fixed-fee price you pay includes unlimited amendments once a final design has been chosen (please give us as accurate a design brief as possible during the order process). Once you have approved your design, your print production time will start and your order will be despatched within our standard 3-5 working days turnaround time.

Will I own the copyright of any design work Oaktree-design does for me?

Yes, all copyrights are transferred to the client upon clearance of full payment. For any artwork or materials supplied by the client to Oaktree-design, the client should ensure no materials supplied breach any statutory copyright.

Do you provide free stock images?

Please note that all the fixed fee prices for design are based on you providing us with all images and copy. We do have a free image library but it is very limited. For high quality, royalty-free images we use and recommend low cost stock image websites such as fotolia.com or istockphoto.com. We can source an image for you at a cost of £20 for a large image and £10 for a small image suitable for print. For any web work we would charge £15 for a large image and £7.50 for a small image. We round the price off to cover the time taken by us to source the image as finding the right image can be a time consuming process. If the customer can supply the image or buy the image directly from a website such as fotolia.com and supply it, then there is no charge. If you do plan on providing an image from a stock site please choose an image with 300dpi resolution.

Will Oaktree-design take a project from outside Manchester or even overseas?

Yes, no problem.
